  3. Once the System Configuration window is up, go to the Services tab. Make sure that the box beside ‘Hide all Microsoft services’ is deselected.
  4. Click Disable All.
  5. Click the Startup tab, then select Open Task Manager. Right-click the first item on the list, then select Disable. Do this on all the entries on the list.
  6. Close Task Manager, then go back to the System Configuration window.
  7. Save the changes by clicking Apply and OK.
  8. Restart your computer.The DISM scan will now begin to repair your system. This process usually takes longer than the SFC scan. Avoid interrupting it as well. Once it is done, check if the issue is still there.

Method 4: Performing a Clean Boot

Third-party applications can also interfere with your system and cause the QLBController.exe to appear. You can identify what causes the problem by performing a clean boot. This allows you to launch your system with all the startup applications and services disabled. That said, follow these instructions:After restarting your computer, check if the problem is still there.
