When you go to the <em>Turn on media streaming<\/em> button, it is either greyed out or does not respond when you click on it. If you are experiencing this issue, there are a handful of things you can do to fix it. Find them listed below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fix the missing Media Feature Pack,<\/li>\n<li>Check if the <em>Automatically allow devices to play my media<\/em>\u00a0option is enabled,<\/li>\n<li>Enable Windows Search Indexing,<\/li>\n<li>Check related services,<\/li>\n<li>Change Local Group Policy settings<em>,<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Replace the <em>Media Player cache<\/em> folder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Fix Media Streaming Not Working<\/h2>\n<h3>Solution 1: Fix the missing Media Feature Pack<\/h3>\n<p>If you are using a <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/topic\/media-feature-pack-for-n-editions-of-windows-10-version-1607-b657cb70-33e7-1f11-7119-3b4b50be4e89\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Windows 10 N variant<\/a>, media streaming will not be available.
