It ungroups the icons when there is enough space on the taskbar and combines them when too many apps are open.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Never<\/b>: This option ensures Windows 11 doesn\u2019t combine taskbar icons .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The changes will be applied automatically, so you can go ahead and close your Settings app and enjoy your new cleaner look.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Method 2: Ungroup taskbar icons using the Windows Registry<\/h3>\n<p>The Settings window is not the only way to ungroup taskbar icons and show app labels. You can make changes in the Windows Registry to achieve the same result.<\/p>\n<div class=\"notebox\">\r\n\t<div class=\"notebox__text\">However, I must warn you that this process can be risky because the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auslogics.com\/en\/articles\/registry-cleaner\/\">Windows Registry <\/a> is a sensitive area. Applying the wrong changes can destabilize your operating system.
