Each # entry should be kept on an individual line. \r\nThe IP address should # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name. \r\n# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one # space. \r\n# # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual # lines or following the machine name denoted by a &lsquo;#&rsquo; symbol. \r\n# # For example: # # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host # localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself. # 127.0.0.1 localhost # ::1 localhost<\/pre>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Go to the File menu in the top-left corner of the Notepad window and click on <em>Save As<\/em>. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Go to the File Name text box in the <em>Save As<\/em> dialog window and type <em>hosts<\/em>. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Navigate to the desktop and click on the <em>Save<\/em> button. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Next, press <code>Windows + E<\/code> to open a File Explorer window. <\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Once the window shows up, click on the address bar, copy and paste the following line, and tap the Enter button:&nbsp;  <code>%WinDir%\\System32\\Drivers\\Etc<\/code><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Once you see the ETC folder, right-click on the Hosts file and select Rename.
