Many users have asked if it is safe to delete the C:\\WINDOWS\\PANTHER<\/em> folder. The simple answer is YES.<\/p>\n

  5. Once the disk’s Properties<\/em> dialog window shows up, click on the Disk Cleanup<\/em> button under the General<\/em> tab.<\/li>\n
  6. After you see the Disk Cleanup<\/em> window, check the boxes beside the temporary files that you wish to delete, then click on the OK<\/em> button.<\/li>\n
  7. Once the cleanup process is complete, restart your computer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You can also go through the Settings application to clear out Windows installation files. Follow these steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Right-click the Start<\/em> button and select Settings<\/em> or tap the Windows logo and I<\/code> keyboard buttons together.<\/li>\n
    2. After Settings<\/em> shows up, click on the System<\/em> icon.<\/li>\n

    4. Go to the right side of the screen and click on “Temporary files<\/em>.”<\/li>\n
    5. Allow Windows to scan your temporary files.<\/li>\n
