If the bar pulsates when you talk, it shows your microphone now works.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Fix 6: Disable Exclusive Mode in Windows 10<\/h3>\n<p>Some apps on your PC may have exclusive control over your headset\u2019s microphone, not allowing Discord to pick up sounds from it.<\/p>\n<p>Follow these easy steps to disable Exclusive Mode:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Right-click on the speaker icon displayed on the right-hand side of your Windows taskbar.<\/li>\n<li>Select Recording Devices from the context menu.<\/li>\n<li>In the window that opens, go to the Recording tab.<\/li>\n<li>Select your headset\u2019s microphone and click the Properties button.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the Advanced tab.<\/li>\n<li>Under the Exclusive Mode category, unmark the checkboxes for \u201cAllow applications to take exclusive control of this device\u201d and \u201cGive exclusive mode applications priority.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Click the Apply button.<\/li>\n<li>Click OK.<\/li>\n<li>Restart your PC check if your mic now works with Discord.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Fix 7: Enable Push to Talk<\/h3>\n<p>Some users reported that enabling Push to talk had helped them in resolving the mic issue. These won\u2019t distract you during game play).<\/li>\n<li>Click Stop recording to save your choice.<\/li>\n<li>Click on Voice and video under App settings.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust the slider for \u201cPush to talk release delay\u201d to suit your preferences. This will modify the time it takes for your speech signal to stop transmitting after you\u2019ve released the Push to talk button. The minimum setting is 20ms. You may want to turn this up a bit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>There you have it.<\/p>\n<p>After you\u2019ve tried all these fixes and your Corsair Void microphone still doesn\u2019t work with Discord, the last option you have is to uninstall the app and then download and install the latest version.
