A significant number of apps do not have full Windows 10 optimization. The reason is that they have not been optimized for the Windows 10 Technical Preview builds yet. Some of Microsoft’s in-house apps are also not fully optimized, including People, Mail, and Calendar. If you have experienced an error such as “People work is not working on Windows 10”, you’re not the only one.

This issue experienced with People, Mail, and Calendar; is nothing new; even Microsoft is well aware of the problem. Presently, there is no solution from Microsoft, so for now, there are alternative solutions to the problem.

Top fixes for People, Mail, and Calendar:

  1. Use PowerShell
  2. Reinstall the apps
  3. Reset Mail and Calendar
  4. Run the Windows Store App troubleshooter

An entire work process can be ruined if your Calendar app is not working on Windows 10. App issues can stem from viruses in the system.
