- What to do when Auslogics Antivirus cannot detect a virus or spyware?
'False negatives', meaning that the program fails to detect a file that is malicious, occur very rarely. This usually happens when the malware uses an unknown technique to hide itself from the antivirus software. This doesn't happen often and when it does, Antivirus is promptly updated to detect and remove this new type of malware.
- How do I register Auslogics Antivirus?
When you purchase Auslogics Antivirus you will receive a 30 day trial version and a license key to register and activate the program via the registration wizard. Open Auslogics and go to General > Status module and then click Enter new key. Enter your registration key and click Next. Then create an Auslogics account. If you already have an account, enter your login details.
- I have a license valid for two PCs. How do I install Auslogics on my second PC?
The process of installing Auslogics on the second PC is identical with installing on the first PC.
- I have a license valid for two PCs. How do I register Auslogics on my second PC?
You don't need to create another account to register your second PC antivirus license. To register, open Auslogics and go to General > Status module and then click Enter new key. Enter your registration key and click Next. Then create an Auslogics account. If you already have an account, enter your login details.
- How do I add a new email address to MyAccount on Auslogics website?
In order to add a new email address please follow the steps below:
- Use your username and password to login to MyAccount;
- Click modify data (available on the right hand side of your account homepage);
- In the window that will appear, click add another e-mail address - a new text box will appear;
- Type your new e-mail address and then click Submit.
Please note that the previous email address cannot be deleted from your account.
- How do I add a new license key to MyAccount on Auslogics website?
In order to add a new license key please follow the steps below:
- Use your username and password to login to MyAccount;
- Click add new license key (available on the right hand side of your account homepage);
- In the new window click again add new license key - a new text box will appear;
- Enter your new license key and click Submit.
Please note that the old license keys cannot be removed from your account.
- What are the unresolved items in the Results Summary window?
There are infected or suspicious files included in the target scan for which Antivirus is not set to take any action.
Solution: scan again the location where the files were detected and set the desired action (Disinfect files, Delete files, Move to Quarantine)
- How can Auslogics Antivirus be installed?
First of all locate the setup file and double-click it. This will launch a wizard, which will guide you through the setup process. Before launching the setup wizard, Auslogics will check for newer versions of the installation package. If a newer version is available, you will be prompted to download it. Click Yes to download the newer version or No to continue installing the version available in the setup file.
Follow these steps to install Auslogics Antivirus:
- Click Next to continue or click Cancel if you want to quit installation.
- Antivirus alerts you if you have other antivirus products installed on your computer. Click Remove to uninstall the corresponding product. If you want to continue without removing the detected products, click Next.
- Please read the License Agreement and click I agree.
- By default, Antivirus will be installed into C:\Program Files\Auslogics\Antivirus. If you want to change the installation path, click Browse and select the folder where you would like Auslogics Antivirus to be installed. Click Next when you are ready to continue.
- Select options regarding the installation process.
- Click Install in order to begin the installation of the product.
- Click Finish. You will be asked to restart your system so that the setup wizard can complete the installation. We recommend doing so as soon as possible.
NOTE: After completing the installation and restarting the computer, a registration wizard and a configuration wizard will appear. Please register, create an Auslogics account, and configure Auslogics Antivirus.
- I can't install the program. Installation gets interrupted while downloading files. What can I do?
This may be caused by unstable Internet connection. Unfortunately, our installation package can't resume broken downloads. You can use these links to download a standalone version of the installation package:
